Next Steps: Legal Action to #VerifytheVote

When an eligible voter casts a ballot in a free and fair election, it is their right and expectation for that vote to be fairly and accurately counted.  

The Election Truth Alliance remains deeply concerned about potential voter disenfranchisement in the 2024 US Presidential Election. Cybersecurity experts have made clear that severe election security breaches took place between 2020 and 2024. Malicious attempts at foreign interference in the election process have been confirmed through sanctions placed on Iranian and Russian actors by the US Department of the Treasury, and by FBI-confirmation of bomb threats to polling places originating from Russian email domains. 

More recently, our own analysis of ballot-level voting data has identified troubling patterns of strong manipulation – raising urgent questions about the integrity and legitimacy of the results as reported. 

In an effort to help ensure voter confidence in this and future elections, our organization is seeking to expeditiously open targeted civil lawsuits in key states. 

Time is short. And we need your help.
 

 Our goal is for investigations to be undertaken to verify the election results in targeted counties, potentially including hand recounts of paper ballots. Our underlying intent is to verify whether voting systems were manipulated to disenfranchise voters in the 2024 US Presidential election.

• State-Specific Legal Expertise. Each state's laws and processes are different. We are currently seeking qualified legal counsel with expertise in civil rights law in the seven swing states. If you have a suggested contact or you yourself have such expertise, please contact us directly at board@electiontruthalliance.org. Reduced cost and pro bono legal services are of particular interest. Our ability to undertake more than one lawsuit will be proportionate to the human and fiscal resources we are able to secure to advance these efforts.

• Legal Standing. Did you cast an Early Vote or Election Day ballot for a presidential candidate in one of the seven swing states? If you did, and want to help ensure confidence that your and your neighbors' votes were counted fairly and accurately, please watch this website and our social media channels in the coming days as we finalize and share specific counties in which we will seek to take legal action.  

• Volunteers. If you are interested in contributing your time and expertise to support this effort, please indicate as much in our volunteer sign-up sheet.
  • We are particularly interested in hearing from you if you have skills related to project management, managing and directing teams, communications and social media, video editing, and general correspondence/administration.

• Donations and Contributions. The Election Truth Alliance is a grassroots, non-partisan organization. We do not accept donations from political candidates, political parties, or political action committees. We have been working to promptly set up interim financial tools to receive donations to fund legal efforts while longer-term non-profit organization paperwork is processed. In the meantime, you can contribute directly to our organization’s interim legal fund via a GoFundMe hosted by ETA’s co-founder DireTalks (Nathan).

• Partners, Validators, and Amplifiers: Finally, we are seeking out like-minded organizational partners, election and data security experts, and others who are capable of amplifying our message.

  • If you would like to amplify our message, take a look around our website for some additional information. A social media package to facilitate easier and more accessible sharing of our analysis and data is currently under development.

 Common-sense election hygiene – like hand recounts, voting system audits, and other integrity checks – are all critical components of a strong and functioning democracy. In the weeks that followed the 2024 US Election, no recounts were formally requested by presidential candidates prior to the state-set deadlines. 

As more information and data has become available, it has become increasingly clear that the American electorate would benefit from greater clarity and certainty 

Every voter deserves to know and believe with confidence that their vote was fairly counted.

If investigations and recounts of key counties in swing states shows no indications of election manipulation, it would reinforce trust in the results. However, if manipulation  is uncovered, it would have significant implications for the American voting public and the broader global community.
