Memorial Day Week of Action

Week of Action

What's Happening?

From May 26-May 30, the Election Truth Alliance will be sharing one action a day in pursuit of secure and transparent elections. These actions involve contacting state and local officials, who are responsible for administering and auditing elections in the United States.

What's The Point?

The point is to amplify our collective voices through coordinated action, and to make sure that state and local officials who run important U.S. elections are urged to prioritize election security and transparency.

Who Can Get Involved?

Similar to how Memorial Day is a U.S. holiday, this Memorial Day Week of Action is targeted to U.S. residents.

How Long Will It Take?

Each daily action should only take 5-10 minutes. That means that if you participate all five days, it should take around 25-50 total minutes of your week.

What Are The Daily Actions?

The daily actions are provided in an image on this page, and are also written out below.

Daily Guidance

Day 4 (May 29)

There are two ways for a hand audit of paper voting records to be initiated in Pennsylvania:

  • Audits can be undertaken at the discretion of the Secretary of the Commonwealth (a role similar to Secretaries of State in other states); or,
  • They can be ordered to occur by a judge.

Pennsylvania's Secretary of the Commonwealth is Al Schmidt, who was cc'd on the ETA's April 4th letter to Governor Shapiro to advise him of our concerns regarding patterns consistent with vote manipulation in the 2024 election results for Philadelphia, Allegheny, and Erie counties.
The ETA is currently in the process of requesting a meeting with Secretary Schmidt in an effort to request a post-election hand audit of paper voting records from him directly.

We're inviting Americans to join us in respectfully advocating for Secretary Schmidt to accept a request to meet.

Day 3 (May 27)

Next up, we shift focus to the election boards in two other Pennsylvania counties:

  • Allegheny County Board of Elections
  • Erie County Board of Elections

(Remember, administering and auditing U.S. elections is a state and local responsibility, NOT a federal responsibility.)

Day 2 (May 27)

Today we're shifting our attention to one of the local government bodies that runs elections in a key swing state: the Philadelphia County Board of Elections in Pennsylvania.

The Election Truth Alliance has identified patterns consistent with vote manipulation in Philadelphia, Allegheny, and Erie counties with respect to the 2024 U.S. General election.

We're inviting Americans to join us in ensuring the board is aware of our concerns in relation to the 2024 election, and to urge them to take steps to safeguard Philadelphia county elections in future.

Day 1 (May 26)

Democracy starts locally, so the call to action for DAY ONE is to contact your own state and local representatives and urge them to take urgent action to ensure election security and transparency.

(Remember, administering and auditing U.S. elections is a state and local responsibility, NOT a federal responsibility.)
